# Privacy

This page describes what the site actually does with what you send us. It is a working notice under legal review and will be replaced by final approved text.

> **Under legal review.** This notice is accurate to how the site works today. Final wording, including the operating entity's legal name and state-specific rights, is pending review. Operated by CityPreferred.

## What we collect

- What you type into a request: the job, your ZIP code, the kind of property, any details you add afterwards, your name, email and phone number.
- The page you submitted from, the referring address, and campaign tags in the link you followed, if any.
- A one-way keyed hash of your IP address, stored with the request to limit abuse. The request record does not hold the address itself; our hosting provider keeps standard server logs.
- The exact consent text you agreed to, its version, and the time.

## How it is used

- To check the request and decide which company fits it.
- To connect you with one company, if one fits. That company receives the request and your contact details.
- To detect a repeat request from the same contact, using a keyed hash of your email address, for 30 days.
- To email you about the request. We do not send marketing email or text messages on the basis of a request.

## Who receives it

CityPreferred staff, and one company per request. If you ask for a different company, one more. We do not sell or rent contact details. The services that host the site and deliver email process data on our behalf.

## Correcting or deleting your request

Email [hello@citypreferred.com](mailto:hello@citypreferred.com) from the address you used. We correct or delete the request. Where a request was already sent to a company, the billing record is kept without your contact details.

## Need a company for this?

Tell CityPreferred the job and your ZIP code at https://citypreferred.com/request. A person checks the request and one local company that does that kind of work contacts you. Free for you; the company pays CityPreferred. Details: https://citypreferred.com/how-we-are-paid
